Documents
Documents is a rich-text editor for essays, reports, and anything longer than a quick note, at /camp/documents.
How to use it
- Go to /camp/documents.
- Click New Document, give it a name, and start writing.
- Select text and use the AI toolbar to edit or generate content in place.
- Documents are searchable and sortable by recency or category from the list view.
What you should see
A formatted document with headings, lists, and inline styling, saved automatically as you type.
Good to know
- Documents vs Notes: Documents is for long-form writing with a full rich-text toolbar; Notes is for quick regular notes, spreadsheets, and Cornell-style notes.
- Documents vs Storage: Documents are written inside Studycamp; Storage holds files you upload from elsewhere. A finished document can be exported if you need a file version.
Limits and costs
Editing a document with AI costs 100 credits per edit.
If it doesn’t work
AI edit does nothing: make sure text is selected before opening the AI toolbar; without a selection it doesn’t know what to change.
