Storage Providers

By default, files you upload to Studycamp live in Studycamp’s own cloud storage. You can switch to your own Google Drive instead.

How to switch

1. Go to /camp/settings/integrations.
2. Under storage, connect Google Drive if you haven’t already (this opens a Google sign-in).
3. Select Google Drive as your storage provider.

What you should see

New uploads go to your connected Drive from then on. Your provider choice shows as either “Studycamp Storage” or “Google Drive” on the integrations page.

Good to know

• Switching providers only affects new uploads. Files already uploaded stay where they were uploaded.
• You need to connect Google Drive before you can select it; selecting it without connecting prompts the Google sign-in flow first.

If it doesn’t work

Can’t select Google Drive: connect it first from the same page; the option is disabled until the connection succeeds.

Files uploaded to Drive don’t show up in Drive’s own app: give it a minute; Studycamp writes to Drive asynchronously after upload.
