Study Chains

A study chain links a practice quiz, an exam-mode quiz, and a remedial round together, so you can see whether repeated practice is actually working, not just take one-off quizzes.

How it works

  1. Start a quiz in a study session.
  2. When it chains, Studycamp nudges you toward a harder exam-mode attempt after a passing practice round.
  3. If you don’t pass the exam step, a remedial round targets the questions you missed.
  4. The chain completes once you pass the exam step.

What you should see

A chain status and score history attached to the workspace, showing each step (quiz, exam, remedial) with its result.

Good to know

  • Chains are optional. A regular one-off quiz doesn’t require you to follow the chain.
  • Passing the exam step is what marks a chain complete, not just taking it.

If it doesn’t work

Chain doesn’t progress after passing a quiz: the nudge to the next step is a suggestion inside the quiz tool; look for the prompt to continue rather than starting a brand new quiz from scratch.
