FAQ
Is Studycamp free to use?
Yes. Free includes 3 workspaces, 1,500 AI credits a month, and 1 GB of storage. See Introduction for what each plan includes.
What’s the difference between Notes, Documents, and Storage?
Notes is for quick regular notes, spreadsheets, and Cornell notes. Documents is a full rich-text editor for longer writing. Storage holds files you upload from elsewhere. See Key Concepts.
What’s the difference between Chat with Docs and AI Chat?
Chat with Docs answers from a specific file open in a study session. AI Chat is a general assistant with no file attached.
Do I need to manually start indexing after upload?
No. Indexing runs automatically. See File Indexing.
Can I use Studycamp on my phone?
Yes, install it as a PWA from your browser for an app-like experience. See Introduction.
What happens to my files if I cancel Pro Student?
They stay in your account. If your total storage exceeds Free’s 1 GB limit, you won’t be able to upload new files until you’re back under it, but nothing already uploaded is deleted.
Does Exam Booster stack with Pro Student?
No, Exam Booster is a separate 60-day pass with its own 150,000-credit allowance. If you’re already Pro Student, the Pro boost (10,000 credits per period) is the equivalent top-up.
Can I export what I generate?
Summaries and glossaries export as Markdown or HTML. See Summaries & Glossaries.
Is my data used to train AI models?
