PDF Reading and Annotations
The PDF viewer inside a study session lets you mark up a document while you study it, not just read it.
How to use it
- Open a file in a study session.
- Select text to highlight or underline it, or add a sticky note at a point in the document.
- Click the bookmark icon on a page to save your place.
- Use the highlights/notes sidebar to jump between everything you’ve marked.
What you should see
Colored highlights and small sticky-note icons directly on the page, plus a list of all annotations and bookmarks for that file.
Good to know
- Annotations and bookmarks are saved per file, so they’re there the next time you open it in any study session.
- For a distraction-free, full-screen PDF reader without the study tools, use /camp/adobe-pdf instead.
If it doesn’t work
Highlight disappears after reloading: make sure you selected actual text, not an image region; scanned PDFs without a text layer can’t be highlighted.
