Feynman

Feynman turns studying into teaching. You explain a concept in your own words, an AI student pushes back with questions, and it shows you exactly where your understanding falls apart.

How to use it

  1. Install Feynman from the Plugins page.
  2. Open a study session. In the tool tabs, click + and add Feynman.
  3. Generate a session from the workspace files you want to be tested on. Feynman picks a short list of concepts to cover.
  4. Pick a concept and type an explanation the way you’d say it to a friend.
  5. Answer the follow-up questions. When you’re solid, move to the next concept.

What you should see

One concept at a time with a challenge prompt, a box to write your explanation, and a back-and-forth chat where the AI probes the gaps. Each concept shows a mastery level: not understood, developing, understood, or mastered.

Good to know

  • Mastery tracking: every attempt is scored, so you can see which concepts still need work.
  • Flashcards from your gaps: once a session is done, generate a deck built from the exact points you struggled with. See Flashcards.
  • History sidebar: past sessions are saved so you can come back and retry a concept later.
  • Difficulty: sessions can run easier or harder depending on how deep you want to go.

Limits and costs

700 credits to generate a session. See Usage Limits.

If it doesn’t work

Feynman isn’t in the tool tabs: install it from the Plugins page first, then add it with the + button in a study session.

It keeps saying my explanation has gaps: that’s the point. Read the follow-up questions, they tell you which link in the reasoning is missing.
