Tests, Quizzes & Exams

Generate practice tests from your files to check your readiness before the real thing.

How to use it

  1. Open a study session and select your files.
  2. Choose a difficulty: basic, intermediate, or advanced.
  3. Choose practice mode or exam mode, then generate. Questions stream in as they’re written.
  4. Answer, then submit. Open-ended answers are graded by AI.

What you should see

Your score, a right/wrong breakdown, and an explanation for each question. In exam mode, answers stay hidden until you submit the whole thing.

Good to know

  • Exam mode: answers stay hidden until you submit; you can set a timer to simulate real test conditions.
  • AI feedback: an explanation of what you got wrong and why, not just a score.
  • History: every attempt is saved with a pass/fail result so you can track improvement.
  • Retake: regenerate a fresh version of a test you didn’t pass.
  • Study chains: a passed practice quiz can chain into an exam-mode attempt and a remedial round. See Study Chains.

Limits and costs

Generating a quiz costs 500 credits. Checking an individual open-ended answer costs 20 credits.

If it doesn’t work

Open-answer grading feels wrong: AI grading looks for the key ideas in your answer, not exact wording; if you believe it’s wrong, regenerate the question rather than resubmitting the same answer.
