Workspaces

A workspace is a dedicated space for one subject, class, or project, for example “Biology 101” or “Thesis Project.” It keeps that subject’s files, notes, and AI context separate from everything else. See Key Concepts if you haven’t already.

How to create one

  1. Go to /camp/workspaces.
  2. Click Create Workspace.
  3. Name it and click it to open it.

How to set it up

  1. Open the workspace. It lands on a widget dashboard, not a folder view.
  2. Click Customize to add, remove, or drag widgets: Files, Tasks, Notes, Study Sessions, Recordings, Overview, Calendar, Countdown. The default layout starts with Study Sessions, Files, and Notes.
  3. Set the emoji, name, status, and exam date from the header. The status cycles between states like “on track” so you can scan your workspace list at a glance, and an “Exam in Nd” badge appears once you set a date.
  4. Pin the workspace from the workspaces list to keep it at the top.

What you should see

A workspace header with your chosen emoji and name, a widget grid below it, and (once you upload something) a file ready to open in a study session.

Good to know

  • Isolated context: files and chat history in one workspace don’t bleed into another, so AI tools stay focused on the right material.
  • Layout is per-device: widget arrangement saves to your browser, not your account.
  • If you’d rather set up several classes at once from a syllabus or study plan, see Course Setup.

Limits and costs

Free accounts get up to 3 workspaces and 1 study session per workspace. Pro Student and Exam Booster are unlimited. See Usage Limits.

If it doesn’t work

“Workspace limit reached” on Create Workspace: you’re on Free and already have 3. Delete an unused workspace or upgrade.
